Advice for Road Runners: The adidas Men's Adizero Boston 12 Running Shoes have quickly established themselves as one of the best tempo running shoes.
They're also praised for feeling very versatile and being suitable for a range of paces.
Underfoot Feel
The adidas Adizero Boston 12 Running Shoes feel very similar to super-shoes, but are likely to feel more stable and supportive. This is down to specific midsole construction.
A top layer of LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam - adidas' most resilient foam - feels very energetic and cushioned. In contrast, a bottom layer of LIGHTSTRIKE 2.0 cushioning doesn't offer as much energy return, but should make the midsole feel more stable.
Glass-fibre infused ENERGYRODS improve energy return and propulsion. The more flexible nature of glass-fibre, in comparison to carbon, should make these more comfortable for weekly sessions.
Upper Fit
The adidas Adizero Boston 12 Running Shoes' upper feels both light and supportive. They feel very spacious in the toe box and will suit runners with broader foot shapes.
Ideal Run Type
Even though the adidas Men's Adizero Boston 12 Running Shoes feel very cushioned, they're best suited to tempo runs and intervals. However, they should also perform very well in longer build runs that progress from slower to steadier speeds.
The durable nature of the Boston 12 makes them the perfect training partner to your race day super-shoes.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
